About Me

Lindsey Cowherd, L.Ac. has been in practice since 2010. She graduated from the Pacific College of Health and Science with an MSTOM (and is working towards her Doctorate from the same school).

She was trained mostly in Japanese Acupuncture, following teachings from: Ikeda Masakazu, Dr. Manaka, Shudo Denmai, and Dr. Mukaino.

Additionally, she has been studying Sports Medicine Acupuncture from Matt Callison (and his team) from their clinic in San Diego, CA. This training is very extensive for motor point work (what you may know better as "dry needling"). It is great for all sort of sports injuries, body re-balancing, and rehab.

Lindsey also learned Facial (aka cosmetic) Acupuncture from both Shellie Goldstein and Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, both in New York State.

All of these areas of study are very comprehensive and are post-graduate certifications!

Lindsey has her licenses from NCCAOM (National Board), Colorado and California. She resides in Salida, CO.
